Care & maintenance of L’atelierme fabrics

Our semi-linens are made with 100% natural fibers (60% cotton, 40% linen). Its texture becomes softer over time, like the textiles of yesteryear.

• Washing : Hand or machine washable at a maximum of 40°C.

• Whitening : Do not use bleach.

• Drying : Do not use a dryer. Also avoid drying it in direct sunlight to preserve the quality of the fibers.

• Ironing : Up to 150°C maximum.

• Dry cleaning: Unfit.

Home tips to remove stains

· Red wine

Absorb excess with a dry cloth. Sprinkle salt on the stain to absorb the wine. Then wash the fabric with cold water and detergent.

· Fats

Apply talcum powder or flour to absorb the grease. Then scrub with warm soapy water.

· Coffee and tea

Mix warm water and white vinegar, apply to the stain before washing.

· Blood

Rinse immediately with cold water and salt, rub gently, then wash the fabric. Avoid hot water.

· Wax

Gently scrape off the dried wax, place a paper towel over the stain, and gently iron to remove excess wax. Then wash the fabric.

· Grass

Scrub with a paste made of baking soda and a few drops of white vinegar before washing.

· Land

Let the dirt dry, brush off any residue, and then wash the fabric with warm soapy water.

· Ink

Rub with 70° alcohol or hairspray and then wash the fabric with soap and water.

· Lipstick

Apply glycerin or a little 70° alcohol to the stain and then wash the fabric with a mild detergent.

· Red Fruits

Rub with lemon juice or sparkling water before washing.

· Tomato

Soak the stain with white vinegar or baking soda, let it sit, and then rinse the fabric.

· Chocolate

Rub with Marseille soap and warm water before washing.
